![]() When we select concealer for our eyes we really aren’t wanting something that gives us the “makeup look” and sadly this does just that. Although it blends out evenly it still manages to look unnatural and gives the appearance that indeed you’re trying to hide something. It’ll hide dark circles, it’ll hide fine lines, it’ll pretty much conceal any woe you have in and around your eyes and face without a doubt however it will crease and it will cake under the eye area particularly if you suffer from dry, aging eyes. It blends out well and has a solid pigmented formula. The light shade happens to be too fair for me but at the very least I could still test it out. Of course I went for the lightest because the medium looked a tad too dark. I believe it comes in three shades but don’t quote me here. The formula is quite pigmented and blends out nicely however it has a few issues here and there… You can’t rant too much when you’re concealing at such incredible speed eh? Well, can’t complain too much about the stick here as it does fit the contour of my eye quite nicely and does the trick for a quick swipe, blend, and go technique. Revlon Photo Ready Concealer is the newest release from the brand that features a formula that promises to conceal and offer a photo ready finish. One wonders if the new Revlon Photo Ready Concealer Stick might do the trick? Perhaps it’s easy enough to dab on spots and the likes but I’m one for judging concealer for the way it’ll make my eyes look awake, refreshed, and bright and I can’t really get that effect in a lipstick style concealer or at least I haven’t personally found one that does the trick. Seriously, I commonly associate stick concealers with really bad formulas and I just feel like they aren’t the best option when it comes to concealing woe under your eyes. I’m sorry but stick concealers are way dated, ahem, I’m talking to you $80 Clea de Peau Beaute Concealer. ![]() This is not the 60’s, this is not your mama’s makeup, you do not need concealer in the form of the lipstick. I happen to be the first person that screams, “Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo!” when it comes to stick concealers. ![]()
